When the trailer of the movie "Ghostbuster" received 600,000 on YouTube, the actress Melissa McCarthy stepped forward and finally broke the silence in TV interview. She clarified that the new movie is a complete reboot and not a remake of the 1984 version.

She also revealed that many people may have been confused after they saw the trailer as it referenced some of the events that had happened 30-years ago. The actress also said that even though the story will be same as the 1984 movie, but it will be portrayed in a completely different manner.

Apart from that, Melissa McCarthy also distinctly pointed out the resemblance between old and new "Ghostbuster" film. She also added that just like the old movie, the upcoming "Ghostbuster" will also feature four characters who end up becoming the "unlikely" heroes as the ghosts flood an entire New York City.

Paul Feig, "Ghostbuster" movie director, also shared his thoughts about the significantly high number of dislikes on the movie's trailer that was recently posted on YouTube. According to him, he doesn't think that upcoming movie will be a bust at the box office even though there have been plenty of vote downs. He also added that people who chose to hit the dislike button were probably the ones who didn't like the idea of women as the lead protagonist. Even though the plot will remain the same, the fans should expect to see some changes in the forthcoming film.

"Ghostbusters" is set to be released on July 15.
